Janine's work focuses primarily on emotions and how they are affected by nature; reflecting our humanness in the fear of a typhoon or wonder at the opening of bud. The focus is not on nature itself but our reaction in the face of it.
Past explorations of hers have included; joy of physical ability, helplessness at the power of a tsunami, fear of drowning, the imaginings in ‘cloud watching’ and wonder at the patterns in a marbled wood or stone surface.
